Artist’s Note:
The Salar de Uyuni is in southwestern Bolivia. It’s the world’s largest salt flat and occupies an area of over 4,800 square miles. The area is home to over 50% of the world’s lithium and is a breeding ground for several species of flamingos. It sits at almost 12,000 feet above sea level.
